Bus Schedule
CDTA
Everyone here knows without a car it isn't too easy to get around without a little help.
So here's our attempt:
To Crossgates/UAlbany: 29 (Albany to Cohoes) with a transfer at Latham Farms to 90 (Downtown Albany to Crossgates).
On the way back to Siena: 90 (Crossgates to Downtown Troy) with a transfer at either Latham Farms or Latham Circle (there will be a wait time in between busses) to 29 (Cohoes to Albany).
Make sure to transfer at the right stops!
Ask for a transfer when getting on the bus, you might not know what to expect at first, but the driver does. Pay attention to if it is Albany to Cohoes or Cohoes to Albany- it will make a difference! Never get on a bus you think is right if you aren't sure. Also remember the driver knows the route, he knows where he's going ask him! They are usually friendly. The bus is $1 each way, causing for an inexpensive way to the mall, UAlbany, or even just get off at Latham Farms go shopping at Wal*Mart, Hannaford, grab some McDonald's and head back to Siena on the 29 (Cohoes to Albany). Have fun, hope this helps. Be safe!
Always check the times,
CDTA does not run to Siena on the weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
also 29 stops coming back to Siena on weekdays around six or seven,
when in doubt check the bus schedule!
